COURSE OVERVIEW

This is a 4 month program. In this course, students learn theory of PLCs & HMIs and the Basic principles of SCADA. Subsequently, the course moves on to Programming principles, which is taught with Real Life Applications. After sufficient practice with Logical building of programs, they work with Controllers & HMIs. SCADA is taught from the Basics until Integration with PLCs and Reporting.

By the end of this course, you will be able to program on most known brands of PLC & HMI, for medium applications. You will also be able to architect a display philosophy and develop an application for monitoring, control & acquisition of data.

The Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi, has launched the ‘Make in India’ initiative to place India on the world map as a manufacturing hub and give global recognition to the Indian economy. As a result of this, India’s manufacturing sector could touch US$ 1 trillion by 2025. Several mobile phone, luxury and automobile brands, among others, have set up or are looking to establish their manufacturing bases in the country. Growth, Productivity, Efficiency, Return on Investment are all terms associated with Automation. To achieve the goals that we, as a country, have set for ourselves, Automation is a necessity. Opportunities are tremendous and growth potential is enormous.
